The pickling paste TS easily removes scaling and tarnish from weld seams
and heat influence zones.
Further, the pickling paste TS removes rust and ferrites from stainless steel
materials.
It is free of chlorides or hydrochloric acid.


Application:

Before the application weld seams have to be cleaned from slag and rough
impurities. Afterwards CMA pickling paste TS is applied with an acid-proof
paint-brush on the tarnishes and scalings so that everything to be pickled is
covered.

The contact time depends on the extent of soiling and scaling and is between
10 and 60 minutes for stainless steel (i.e. 1.4301). When the steel is higher
alloyed it may be up to 120 minutes (see schedule).

The operation time for nonferrous metals or other materials has to be
determined by the user after a pilot test.
After finishing the pickling rinse off with cold water (150 bar).
